Hi All,
QRM from amateur neighbours is sometimes a problem
for weak signal enthusiasts. Most amateurs use
commercial transceivers and the amount of qrm
they cause varies between the different models.
There will be a meeting in southern Sweden
Aug 21 to 24 2003:
http://www.tekniksidorna.com/RS03/introeng.html
I will bring equipment there for dynamic range testing,
both tx and rx. I am interested in collecting data for
modern rigs that are commonly used on 144 MHz. Several
different ones of each model.
If you have a chance to go there, please bring your
144 MHz rig. If there is time I will make measurements
on 14 MHz also.
Measurements will be made by use of Linrad and the WSE
converters. For details look at:
http://antennspecialisten.se/~sm5bsz/linuxdsp/txtest/txtest.htm
This will be an opportunity to see Linrad and to use it
on different kinds of signals. The meeting place is as
far south as one can come in Sweden and the location is
well within reach from OZ and northern DL.
Hope to meet some of you there:)
