If both programs run on the same computer, there should be
no need for any network cards at all. Both programs should
be able to use the IP address 127.0.0.1, a pseudo-network
address for local (memory-to-memory) transfers.
Neither Linrad nor MAP65 provides a runtime option to set
the network transfer address. These could be added, of
course. At present it is necessary to make some very minor
changes to the source code and re-compile.
See you in Florence, next week!
