Re: [linrad] Using onboard sound
I've sorted out the problem - I didn't have the on-board sound turned on in the BIOS settings at start-up. Eveything now works fine - i/p via Delta-44 and o/p via sound on the motherboard.
I'll be posting the configuration on Linrad User Data site when I've done some more experimenting.

Subject: [linrad] Using onboard sound
Hi all
I've just finished installing Linrad on a new box and I'm trying to figure out how to use the onboard sound as well as the Delta-44 sound card.
The hardware is a HP / Compaq D530 (3Ghz P4 processor and 512Mb of RAM). I'm using RedHat 9 with OSS and Linrad works fine with i/p and o/p via the Delta-44 card. OSS doesn't find any other sound devices apart from the Delta-44 card. With my previous hardware o/p from the Delta-44 card was routed to a Soundblaster card - this time I would like to use the onboard sound facility.
Thanks in advance
