[linrad] FAT/NTFS --- hooked for sure ; Re: [linrad] Partition

Hello Mike,

As far as I have understood, the whole idea about the Live_CD is
that you do not have to make ANY changes to your HD-partitions.
Thus you do need probably only a few files, that Knoppix adds to
an existing FAT or NTFS partition.

As Roger put it, we are Linux-hostages. You have quickly come to
the same point that took me three years using the older versions
(admittedly with many long breaks in between). Well, you have now
invested so much time in this that there is no chance to back out.
You are hooked for sure!  Wish you luck during the months ahead...

I set-up a small partition at the end of my HDD and tried to save my data to that partition, but Knoppix did not locate it. I set it up as a ext2 as well as I recall, but obviously that wasn't the right type because Knoppix didn't find it. 

What type partition should that be?
