This is exactly the problem I suffer from under MS-Windows
where the directory structure is really unclean.
What I do is to open the MSDOS window, go to C:\ and type
DIR MYFILENAME*.* /s
This will show me where to find the file.

Under Linux it is easier. First you type 'updatedb'
then you type 'locate MYFILENAME'

It goes to the directory where you were logged to when starting
Linrad. If you do not know, use updatedb/locate. (Type 'man locate'
if you want to know what you are doing)

I seriously suggest you slow down on the keyboard and read what
the text says before you start typing in what you think is appropriate.

You can save the gif file where you want by typing a full file name
(including a path)

But you can see it on the main spectrum?
This means you have to use the F1 key with the mouse on the different
buttons in the waterfall window so you can proceed.

Presumably the signal level is too low (black waterfall) or too high
(white waterfall) so you have to change the level (gain) somewhere.

The numbers constitute a frequency scale. What you see is the screen
of a spectrum analyzer. By use of the F1 key you can learn how to
zoom in and out. Only if you have zoomed out as much as possible
the frequency scale shows everything processed by the software.
