[linrad] Trouble OSS and Delta 44

I have now installed OSS on my Suse System. I needed the regparm version.
All installed fine, but it seems that my Delta 44 runs only at 48 kHz.

In ossmix I have set envy24.rate to 96000
envy24.ratelock is ON
envy24.actrate is at 48000 and it says write protected when I try to change
it.

In the Linrad "U" setup I get:

WARNING!!! device does not respond correctly to speed setting command

Somebody must have had this problem before...
